About Us
‘Desi’ - from the Sanskrit word ‘desh’ meaning country. To be of South Asian descent. ‘Dhamaal’ - a Hindi word meaning noise, celebration, excitement.
Desi Dhamaal was founded by Sahir, who wanted to share his passion for dance.
Our mission is to offer the best dance classes in the city, blending traditional moves with contemporary styles to create a unique and exciting dance experience.
We believe dance is for everyone, regardless of skill level. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced dancer, our classes are fun, inclusive, and designed to build both technique and confidence.

Dance Classes
When and where are classes held?
Classes are held at Oasis Academy in Media City.Currently they are held every Thursday from 7-8:30pm.
How much are classes?
Classes are £7 per class.Classes can be paid for via cash or contactless.
What do I need to bring?
Just yourself, some water, and comfortable shoes!
Will classes be recorded?
Yes, a video will be taken at the end of the class for social media. If you would not prefer to be recorded, this is fine.
